About the Owner, Emma Reynolds (who is standing in the photo), a 30 year, Gwinnett County, GA. resident: Emma Reynolds is a U.S. Army Service-Connected Disabled Veteran whose professional career spans more than 25 years across federal and state government as well as the private sector. She served on active duty and in the U.S. Army Reserves for 10 years as a Finance Officer, with duty stations in Korea, Kansas, and Georgia. Her civilian career included work assignments with the Georgia Department of Labor, Georgia Industries for the Blind, the construction industry, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Emma brings extensive expertise in operations management, process improvement, quality management systems, and leadership. With more than 20 years of civic engagement and community outreach involvement, Emma held leadership roles as a volunteer throughout Gwinnett County and nearby Georgia counties. She provided training and mentorship to individuals, empowering them to become more effective communicators and leaders. She rallied teams around community projects, which included assisting seniors at assisted living communities. She has also shared her knowledge and passion for personal and professional growth by teaching soft skills to both professionals and college students. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Emma made multiple trips to Miami, FL. to be there for her oldest sister, Brenda Williams (who is seated in the photo with her), during her difficult health challenges. After Brenda’s passing, Emma and her siblings spent almost a year managing their sister’s estate. This deeply personal experience led Emma to launch her own Caring Transitions business. Through this work, she strives to ease the burden on other seniors and their families by offering compassionate, comprehensive support for downsizing, relocating, and life transitions. This is also Emma's way to honor and remember her beloved dear sister, Brenda.
